My Seven Month Old is Poo Poo Trained

She Loves Sitting on the Potty

Funny Story
Addie has now started eating baby food pretty good now eating at least one whole jar of food and some oatmeal or cereal. Problem with this is that its getting harder to relieve herself now. She was constipated for four days on the fifth, Monday, She finally went! Now to the funny part. After her morning dose of oatmeal we decided she would take a bath today. I cleaned the tub and started filling it up, than I heard some grunting noises coming from the kitchen. I go to see what was up and realized she was trying to poop. She has been doing these grunting things a lot in the past four days so I thought nothing of it. I picked her up, went to the changing table, and began undressing her. Once I got to the diaper I noticed a tiny pebble of poo... yay I was clapping for her because as we all should no its not fun having a constipated baby. The fun part comes when I grab the naked baby and head to the tub. One foot into the bathroom and I see some water dribbles onto the ground ... uh thats coming from Addie! I opened the lid on the toilet and placed Addie's bum on the toilet...(she looked so little on such a big thing). Not a few seconds later the grunting began and Addie had her first "real poop" on the toilet!
I'm sure all of you love to hear about our daughters bowel movements but the second part of the story is that she did it again today... she didn't relieve herself much after the incident Monday but today as we got ready to get into the tub she began grunting...again placed her on the toilet and she pooped. This time it was much longer we sat there for at least 8 minutes! So our daughter may not be potty trained but she is "poo poo" trained... If only that would last... lol.

Adorable Pirate

I attempted at making a dress for Addie on St. Patty's... Attempt failed. It was too small but it fit on her head! lol Dont ask how it got so small... I am still trying to figure that one out.

Clark's Birthday

Darrell's brother, Clark's, birthday was March 16th so as we do with everyones birthday in our family we had dinner, dessert and played games the Sunday before. We met at the park and played a couple games of bocce ball and Frisbee golf. Kimmy, Aaron, Ryan and his fiancée came and played with us. We then came home and enjoyed dinner, an Ice cream cake Darrell and I took the adventure in making, was not all that hard believe it or not. Than we played some games. We also set up our brackets for March Madness... Hmm wonder who got the closest so far?

Carrot Faces

So far out of everything we have given her; sweet potatoes, green beans and now carrots.. she likes the carrots the most I think she has almost eaten half the jar! Crazy thats good for Addie!

Giraffe Girl

I found this super cute tutorial online... Okay so Beth found it but she emailed me it! It's a high waisted skirt and pretty cute! It would probably be better on a child that stands but its still adorable! Kimmy helped me pick out the fabric to use, I just love the giraffe print. Some of the pictures are washed out because the flash not on but the middle one had pretty good lighting! We even had fabric for a matching headband!

Sweet Potatoes

Addie started out with baby food really good. She ate it pretty well other than the big bites that she gags on, like in the picture above. After trying the sweet potatoes she really was not all that interested in food anymore except for the food mommy and daddy are eating.

Leah's Bridal Shower

We had a great time at Leah's bridal shower! We played a game of Mad Libs and wrote advice notes for Leah, and of course we had treats!

Baking Baby

Addie was helping us bake sugar cookies for Leah's Bridal Shower!

Pretty In Purple

Our baby girl is finally big enough to fit in the dress that I made for her before she was born! She is our precious little girl. We love her so much, but just look at her who wouldn't!

Beth and I made pizza for dinner... I usually screw up pizza some how but it just never turns out! This is the first time that we actually wanted to eat it and have leftovers!

Yahtzee

Once Darrell got home from school we got him to play a game a Yahtzee with us! Addie liked the dice she wanted to attack them at any given time!

If Only It Were Summer!

This is one of the cute outfits that the Mathews kids wore not sure which ones I am only assuming it was Libbey or Beth... dont think the boys would look as cute!!
