Watermelon Love

Addie absolutely loves watermelon but it makes such a mess. Usually She gets stripped down to her diaper and when down her diaper is dyed pink. She also loves to share her watermelon with anyone that would want some!

Addie Copycat

Darrell will come home and read his paper and Addie likes to try to copy him. This particular day he was reading the home teaching message and Addie wanted up so he picked her up and she took the paper away and than started babbling as if she was reading to Daddy. It was so cute we tried to get her to do it again so we could get it on video but nah they never do anything cute when the video's on.

Fourth of July Photoshoot

4th of July

Provo has a parade on the fourth. It is said that there are about 250,000-300,00 spectators that come to this event. They have signs that say you cant camp out until 3:00 the day before on University Avenue and 5:00 am on the morning of the parade on center street. It is crazy. So we wanted to go to the parade and have a decent seat so my friend and I decided to get up early we left around 5:30 and it was already packed! people were laying everywhere. Some sleeping and others talking and scouting out there territory. We found a spot finally. Than around 8:00 I went home and got Darrell and Addie. They had runners in the parade that came through around 7:30. It was a lot of fun and the parade was good but I still think that any parade without handing out candy is not all that fun. I know sad but hey the idea of camping out was so much fun. Maybe that's why the parade is such a big event for the thrill of staking out your territory?
The best floats were probably the huge scooby doo and the star-wars characters. They had some princess floats but I didn't get a good picture of those.

Rainbow from North to South

We could see both ends of the rainbow and the middle it was beautiful!

because of the rain we were not able to light our fireworks on the fourth of July or the next three days after. We finally were able to go outside on the 8th and see if Addie liked the fireworks. So I bought fireworks that made a crackling noise... well when Dare lit it we had no idea that it was going to be so LOUD! It was way too close to Addie and I as well. Lets just say Addie was not too fond of that firework. She we mesmerized by the sparklers though.

Stadium of Fire

July 2

We went down through Provo's fair and then made our way up to campus. At campus they were having stadium of fire at the football stadium so we found a place on the lawn in front of the administration buildings and at 10:15 fireworks were going off! At first Addie didn't know what was happening she looked left than right than left and right, but we would point to the fireworks and we believe she figured it out eventually. She was a tired girl and kept laying down everyonce in awhile. On the walk home she fell asleep in the stroller.

Back to Utah

Once we got back to "life" Darrell heads off to work now. He works at Merit Medical in South Jordan and is liking it quite a bit. Once school starts he will probably stop working there. Addie and I chill at home, shop, or go on Adventures. We broke down and bought Tangled and we watched it like at least once a day for a week. Addie liked it quite a bit she would eat her cookie and watch the movie. I set her sippy on the ground and Instead of picking it up to drink she would crawl to it and just suck out of it. It was really funny.
