Awake and Upright!

Addie enjoyed sitting in the "big" chair but soon got tired and slid further and further down the chair. Eventually those big blue eyes opened right back up again.

She was posing for the camera during this bath... this is her last bath in the sink! Getting Big!

Beth came over... and we did a scalp treatment on her hair! It was fun! Isn't her hair just beautiful... lol okay thats the picture with all the gunk in it still!

When Darrell comes home from school the first thing he usually does is go find Addie! Some days they just sit together and others they go take a nap!

Alex joined Addie and I and we took a trip down to Vernal to see Malissa and baby Ayda. Ayda was born two days after Addie! They are just meant to be friends!

Starting Young

Addie went to her first BYU football game! Although she slept most of the time she still seemed to enjoy the crowd going wild. Yes, we lost the game but its alright were showing how to be a good sport! Kyle's boss at the last minute couldn't go to the game so he had four tickets Beth, Darrell, Kyle and I! We realized how much easier it is to understand a football game watching it at home on tv.

Frisbee Golf

September 24th- We took a trip to the park and played frisbee golf it was a lot of fun. Addie missed out though she slept through the whole thing!

Darrell had to go check out the sweet gun!

Time Flies

I cant believe that another month has gone by. Addie and I seem to keep ourselves pretty busy. It gets a little crazy when you add a baby to the mix of things. I take way too many pictures of Addie we just do not know what we will do with all of them. So I was going to take the same picture every month to see Addie grow but I am just not that on top of things so we have her one month picture but forgot to take the same one for her 2 month picture.. oh well we will just have a different pose! Okay bare with me when I update you and the last month and the end of September...

Now this outfit was the outfit that I came home from the hospital in... She would have swam in this when she came home. She looks so happy!

Sunday Shots

I cant help posting pictures of Addie. She is just so adorable! I might be a little bias. We were trying to skype my parents on Sunday but turns out everytime we got on skype would not work or Addie was too tired or crying. So I guess we shall try again next Sunday! She is starting to fit into 0-3 month clothes a little better! She is getting big so fast!

I know I know.. everything is a little too big still but I couldnt help trying it on her. The shoes barely fit her! (she has some big feet!)

Taking a snooze together! It almost looks like she is sleeping in the same position as me... maybe I influenced her the last 9 months while she was in my tummy.

A REAL BATH

This is as real as it gets for this little ones bath. We have found out that she loves getting her hair washed is because I bring her head right next to the running water. She loves the sound of the running water. This bath she fell asleep as I was washing her hair! What a cutie!

This is the dress that my aunt Chris got me when I was born... I was nine pounds at birth so I didn't get to wear it very long. Does it not just look so cute on her! Its so frilly!

Walking to the Store

Well, we needed something from the store and decided lets just make a quick trip over there! FYI if you have a baby its hard to just randomly pick up and go somewhere, out little bundle of joy decided it was time to eat... poor thing had to survive with the pacifier until we got home... good thing the store is like two minutes away.

Daddys First Diaper Change

So daddy had it easy... the first time. As he changed her she was just as patient as can be... My mom and I came to the conclusion that we squeeze her legs too tight and thats why she cries so much. Well at the beginning now she cries just whenever she decides to on diaper changes.

Oh yes, on Friday we gave Addie her first bath at home. Well, if you can call it a bath. She still had her umbilical cord on so we cant get her completely wet. Which kinda stinks because who would love getting water on your body and being completely vulnerable to the air.

She did love getting her hair washed though!

She also hates getting baby lotion spread all over her... if only she new how good it makes her smell! :)

First Trip Home!

It all started out quite fun with Dad holding her and putting her to sleep, then in she goes into the car seat...

then....

It didn't take long and she was sound alseep all the way home!
