Addie's Before Christmas Activities

Addie loved to play Just Dance on the Wii. She would really get her boogie on.

She is getting bored of our books at home but was very interested in the new books Grandma had.

Oregon

Grandma and Grandpa could not wait until Christmas to see Addie, so we flew down for a week to spend with them. Addie make some cookies with Grandma and built a fire with Grandpa. Very productive. Addie just being as smart as she is, knew that the fire was hot and never went to touch it. She would point or look at it and blow as if its hot. I think she does that because when her food is hot I tell her to blow on it with me.

This is a five generation picture! Crazy

The family! Well who was there! Corbin came down and spent most of the weekend with us.

Halloween

We decided to go to the mall and trick or treat. Much warmer and close stores! Addie loved getting candy if they put it in her bucket she would take it out and look at it. She always had a sucker in her hand walking to the next store. Addie loves the escalator... hates elevators but loves the escalator... strange.

Allisyn and Addilyn

Alli and Addie are a week apart. I was doing Erin's hair while the girls played together and with Darrell. They loved the car and decided to share it.

Ward Trunk or Treat

Our ward every year has a chili and cornbread cook off and a trunk or treat. This year to entertain the kids they got a blow up bounce house and slide. Addie loved the slide!

It got pretty chilly. Daddy and Addie snuggling to keep warm. Daddy is Shaggy from Scooby Doo and If didn't know Addie is Rapunzel. I was Daphne also from Scooby Doo.

Flooding

On October 3rd at 6 am we woke up to a puddle of water in our kitchen; coming up from the drain in the floor. We ran upstairs to the people showering and said that they can not shower until they get this fixed. As soon as they stopped showering the water started to drain. I called our landlord as soon as they opened and were going to get someone to come fix it; by five thirty I still had not got a call back from our landlord. The water at this point had drained. That night Darrell and I sat down to watch a movie and then we stopped to put Addie to bed and noticed that the people upstairs were showering again and we had a kitchen full of water again. So we ran upstairs to tell them to stop showering and figured it would drain just like the morning did. We figured we would wait until morning to call for help. We went back to the movie and after it was over Dare took a step off of our carpet in the LIVING ROOM and "splash" he stepped in a puddle of water. Apparently the water, not like the morning before, did not drain but kept flooding while we were watching our movie. The water was in one corner of the living room  into the hallway and covering the kitchen. We decided that this was ridiculous so we called in the emergency phone number and were in for the adventure of having people come unplug the drain and dry up the mess. During the wait Darrell filled up our trash can with water and dumped it outside. I believe he dumped out twenty gallons of water! Wow. Now we have little red stickers around our apartment where there was water damage done. They have been there for about three weeks now. Addie has now decided to start picking them off the walls and I'm not stopping her. If they were going to do something about the wet wall than I think they would have by now. Now is our decision to whether we will stay here next year or move on to a new apartment. Oh moving is so much effort though.

BOOT FREE

October 26th Kimmy finally gets permission to be boot free and has graduated going to check ups on her foot. I should have taken a picture of the different sizes of her ankles and calves. Her right foot is now tinier than the left. It is pretty funny looking.

Addie and her Car

Girly Glare

We have started putting Addie into time out. We stick her in her crib for about a minute. When I go get her out of her crib she will glare at me like these pictures or she will point her finger at me and shake it, like I did something wrong and than other times she gives kisses. Its hard not to laugh when she is glaring or shaking her finger at me.

Halloween Cookies

Car Wreck

No more perfect driving record for me! Yes a couple weeks ago Addie and I caused an accident. We were on University Ave. during stop and go traffic and just one glance back at Addie and I was heading straight into a vans rear. We were all so close that she actually hit the car in front of her too. Lovely! Airbags activated and the front of the car was smashed in a bit. We went to see how much it will cost to get the bags fixed and it will be about $2000 they say its not worth fixing. It would be better to spend the money on something else. :( ahhh We will see what happens) The radiator was also smashed in a bit, Darrell said that it was not leaking so it should be alright.

Addie was trying to be helpful, She sat on Daddy's crate when he stood up to look at something.

Go BYU

Walking to the stadium

Addie enjoyed the game as much as a one year old can. She loved to cheer and clap whenever something good happened.

After the game we had a BBQ at the park Kimmy, Trevor and Clark came too. We also played some volleyball.

While the Burgers were cooking Addie took it upon herself to get some doritos. She has orange fingers and and orange face.
