So I still have my moms sewing machine and have been sewing away pretty much anytime I have. I have made two outfits and we went to JoAnn Fabrics and Darrell picked out material to make a blanket. The design he decided on is so cute! I have to still get pictures of it but I do have pictures of the other things I have made.

Anniversary Continued
The rest of the night we just hung out. Played some games, roasted marshmellows and read some of our book. (I started the Children of the Promise series when I was at home and im not much of a phone talker and neither is Darrell so I started reading to him at night. Now he is addicted to.. well to a point). The night was still very cold! We were freezing. But by 10 o'clock the next day it was warmer than ever. We made scrambled eggs, hashbrowns and sausage for breakfast and then decided to walk around a little and pack up. It was a fun. We drove back to Lewiston, went down to the "beach" did a little hiking, played in the pool at out complex and then, decided to go to a dollar movie, and then we ate dinner at panda express. Mmm. I think it turned out to be a great anniversary little get away.

Anniversary!
For the weekend of our anniversary we decided that we wanted to go camping... we figured it should be cheaper than going to a hotel and eating a fancy dinner. Well, come to find out we "needed" this and than that. Ha ha. Yeah but as Darrell puts it we are investing because we can use this again! Very true. Good thing we have another family reunion to go to and get the use out of all these things. Anyways we got to our camp spot and first thing was to set up the tent. lol I have never seen someone clean up the area as good as Darrell did... let alone how time consuming it was. But it did look good! We walked around the camp area to check things out and then made dinner! ... let me say this is a new adventure for us, I made campfire potatoes, and we had veggies and hamburger patties. The trick was I didnt figure out how we were to cook them. So Darrell got the fire up and flaming and through the dinners on it. We didnt bring anything to take them out of the fire though.... good thing Darrell was a boy scout and brought some handy dandy working gloves with him so that he could flip our dinner! The hardest part was not letting the food fall out of the foil as he flipped them.
