Family Fun

On Monday, all of us girls went on a Costco shopping trip and then to Cafe Rio for Lunch! mmmm

We had Aaron, Clark, Kimmy, Lindsey and Allie over yesterday to play games and have fun! We made Mozzarella sticks, elephant ears and rice krispies! It was lots of fun!!!

Fuzzy Head

Addie has lost most of the hair from birth she has a couple of long hairs but not many but now her head is fuzzy looking! Especially in the light!

The story behind the fact that I don't have any pictures with a straight face or just smiling is because my eyeballs do not stay open and they all turn out creepy. with my eyes half shut!

She is trying to eat me in this one!

Darrell and I are addicted to going to Panda Express! We usually get half rice half chow mein and then we get two servings of orange chicken and whichever other entree that sounds good at the moment! So in all we decided to try it ourselves... we figured it would be close to pandas but not perfect. I went to the store and bought the panda express orange chicken sauce and popcorn chicken. We then cooked the popcorn chicken. While it was cooking we diced 1 bell pepper and an onion up sauted it in a pan then added the Orange sauce. We also made rice... it was pretty good for making it the first time! We cooked minute rice in the microwave first than put it in a pan with some oil (3/4 veggie oil, 1/4 seasame oil) we added celery, carrots and five eggs. Put in a couple of seasonings a little onion powder, garlic and quite a bit of teryaki sauce! It was Great! Than we ate! It didnt look all that great but it tasted good.... I think next time I wouldn't take the time to add the pepper and onion to the orange sauce and just heat it straight up!

January 2011

Is it crazy that I feel like I have been writing 2011 or reading it a lot lately that I think it should be 2012 this year! Maybe I'm just a little crazy! Well we got home from our trip to Arizona and Addie came down with the sickness that spread like mad over there!... we thought we might have gotten lucky and missed the catch! Addie has been so sick... I hate when she cant even eat because her nose is so plugged! Poor baby. She got her four month old shots on Wednesday which was sad to watch. She tensed up so much but that day she was not too sad not the heartbreaking scream that she pleasured us with after her 2 month shots. This time a few days after her shots her cold was worse she developed a fever and got a nasty diaper rash! Two days later things were looking up. The diaper rash cleared and no more owies, (I have no idea how to spell that), from her shots. Still has the cold but is able to sleep through the night better.

Lovely and Responsible me somehow lost our camera on our vacation so we went back to our really bad free camera and just couldn't handle it! When you have a 4 month old baby you need pictures everyday! We broke down and got another camera at Costco... Different one.... uhhh.... I think I like it! The video is suppose to be a little better .. especially the sound... but we will see.

Her bum was so sore that she took like three baths...and sat with her bum airing out! Good thing I stole a couple of those cotton pads from the hospital1

So as of the moment not posting any pictures from Christmas in Arizona because USB drives are stupid and never read anything most of the time! you would think that technology could be better! Hate Hate Hate usb drives!!!

The Sunday after Thanksgiving we had Addie's baby blessing. We had lots of family and friends come for it!

CAKE BOSS!

My mom got me addicted to watching cake boss, so she bought some fondant. Tyler, Mom and I made a cake! It was fun... somehow easier than I expected it to be. We didn't have much time so it turned out pretty good!

It was a red velvet cake which tasted great!!! and thats meaning something because I am usually no cake eater!

More Newport Relatives

On Saturday we had a bunch of treats and like an open house for everyone to come see Addie! We also watched the civil war game beavers vs ducks.. we just wont get into that one.
