Disney World
May 18
When I wrote the post title I really wish I could say, "Were going to Disney World," or "We went to Disney World," But NO the truth is My Parents and siblings went to Disney World! But whats the next best thing If you didn't get to go? Souvenirs if course, My parents sent us a Disney princess piggy bank for Addie, (I don't know if I can still call it a "piggy" bank.) A Chefs hat, Minnie Mouse stuffed animal and a Mickey metal hot pad thing (I still have yet to take a picture of). It was great! Addie is styling in our new accessories.

Favorite Chair

Addie does not know how to play with toys. She really isn't even interested in them, unless I am playing with it than she is first to take it away. Addie would much rather climb up on everything just to be able to stand up. She stands up using the couch, the coffee table, her highchair, which sometimes is very difficult because it runs away from her, and her favorite chair. Our $10 DI Chair. Now you may say, "thats a lot for a DI chair," But you just have to sit in it. It is quite comfy. Anyways back to Addie, She loves this chair the "DI" chair. The only problem we have with her fetish over this chair is that she has a hard time using it to get up. It doesn't have the right holds. So she just whines her way up the chair, but once she is up she absolutely loves the chair or whines to the person sitting in it that she wants all the way up! This child will crawl to the kitchen if she has to, to find her favorite chair.
What a goober!

New Bibs
So I finally got around to making a couple of bibs. The bibs we have been using are just so short and end up getting food all over her lap.
Learning New Things Ain't Easy

I have learned that it is really hard to videotape my child learning new things. For example the other day she decided she liked to hold on to the couch standing up and switch to the chair and keep going back and forth. I wanted to catch it on camera which I kinda achieved through lots of tears and pain. Addie would fall every time and my reflexes while holding on to the camera were not very good.
Personal Excavator

Beth and Sharon were telling me about how they call their... neice and granddaughter there personal Excavator and I can say that we invested in one too... the only problem we have with this is we don't have anything that needs clearing. I believe the books I put on the bookshelf do not need clearing.
Broccoli Baby!

Crazy Hair

I put Addie down for her nap right after her bath so her hair was not completely dry. This is the result of her bath hair after her nap.

Addie never sleeps on her back anymore even if she is completely asleep when I lay her down. She ends up cuddling with her blanket and laying on her tummy or side.

Feeding the Ducks

After going and visiting Brianna and Scott we went down to the pond to feed the ducks some ... pancakes. We had left over pancakes that morning. I hope its okay to feed ducks pancakes. ha ha There were so many ducklings swimming around the pond. We had such a good time.

Happy Birthday Grandma Skousen

We were headed home on the 28th so we went up to Mesa to stay the night and take off from there. We went and helped Teresa pick out a new computer, her birthday present, that everyone said she must get! Than we went to dinner at Serrano's Mexican Restaurant. We got serenaded to. It was really good!
They brought out a sombrero for Teresa to wear and gave her some fried ice cream!

Hiking in Hyder
April 27
We decided to wake up somewhat early and go on a hike! .. ha hike.. When I think of hike I think back home where there are trees and bushes and trails to go through the trees. Lets just say this "Hike" was no hike at all this was mountain climbing. We climbed a rock mountain. Its official name is Hyder Mountain. Anyways. It was crazy. When climbing Aaron and Clark saw a snake and that kinda freaked me out All I wanted to do was keep on moving so nothing could get me. I stopped for a second and a bumble bee was climbing up my shirt. I don't really remember what a bee sting feels like but I am sure its not that pleasant and I really didn't want to get stung and so I grabbed my shirt and flung it off and ran like bullet! ha ha Yeah probably ridiculous sounding but I'm not so interested in insects or snakes... That would be the reason we could never live in a place like Hyder.
Aaron was there with us too ... I just don't know where.
Activities at Grandma's

Addie of course loves swinging and Grandma got a new swing that she loved! We also spent time putting this 500 piece puzzle together. I cant believe how much effort it took, I must be out of practice.

Addie got to go help Grandma feed the baby cow... she was quite fascinated. Or maybe it was the ATV ride that she liked.

We went to Skousen Park to get together with family and have lunch and a big Easter egg hunt for the kids. It was a lot of fun and such a nice day despite the gusts of wind occasionally.
