TROUBLE
This last week I have come to the conclusion that Addie has hit that stage where she gets into EVERYTHING. The other day I was showering with the door open because Addie was awake and I really needed to shower! Usually she will come in an want to either jump in with me or just chat a little. Well she was being very quiet, so I peeked out of the curtain and Addie had removed the rug in front of the sink and slid the chair up to the sink. Luckily it was a clean sink for once. I yelled Addie what are you doing and than finished up my shower. I watched her put the chair back lay the rug out and totally made it look like she was not guilty of anything as if she didn't touch one thing mom. At least she cleaned that one up by herself. Lets see I was smart and gave her the whole ziploc of goldfish the other day and she decided it needed dumped all out on the table. If she ever goes into the kitchen I am afraid for my kitchen and anything anywhere. Yesterday she decided to pour a bowl of cereal for herself. I accidentally left the cereal box on the table, bad mistake. She forgot the bowl so just decided to dump the WHOLE box of cereal on her highchair tray. At least it was not the floor. Today when we got back from the store I was hurrying to get dinner ready so I just put the groceries on the table. Addie decided she wanted to help and dumped pretty much the entire carton of eggs on the kitchen floor. The good side to this is now my kitchen floor is pretty and moped! Yay. She has spent quite a bit of time in time out and in her room lately! These troubles don't bother me too much but the constant whining that she has done this last week is driving me nuts!! Please tell me she will get over this whiny stage and soon! Lets just say Aunt Kimmy is babysitting tomorrow so Mommy and Daddy can escape the whine for just a little. She always wants to watch a movie. First it was Tangled all the time than she switched to Lion King. But this week it has been Finding Nemo she says it Nimo. She will seriously watch it all day 5 times if I would let her. We are potty training officially now! Wow I don't know how that works. We have got to the point if I remember to take her every couple of hours she will go. I don't know when it will get to the point where she will actually say she needs to go potty and she still has yet to figure out the number two! YUCK. I made Darrell clean it up a couple days ago. He just wants to throw away any panies that get gross. She has officially been in only a pull up at night, Not even during naps for 3 weeks now.
Ultrasound Excitement
After taking these pictures I thought that it should have said something to the point of brother. but hey that was way too much to fit on my tiny chalk board.
We were so tempted to pay and extra $25 to find out what we were having early but we waited the full twenty weeks and were so anxious. We kind of suspected it was a boy because of how different this pregnancy is compared to the one with Addie. I only had morning sickness for a couple weeks compared to the first 21 weeks that I was sick with Addie. This pregnancy I have had a lot of sinus colds at least three and they last for at least two weeks. I even got medication for one of them and it didn't even touch it. Now that I am starting to get bigger I have experienced a lot of heartburn! Not a fan. I didn't have heartburn with Addie at all. My calves and fingers have started swelling already! Dang summer! All in all this baby is getting big much faster than Addie did or at least I fell much bigger sooner. Baby boy was being silly in the ultrasound and decided to fold his body completely in half. His head was down with his legs up and over it. His chin was tucked so close into his body that they could not get a good picture of his heart to make sure all the right things were in their right places. We go in TOMORROW to see if we can get a better view of his heart and hopefully a profile shot. He kept looking straight at the camera in the first session and lets just say profile pictures are much cuter. This ultrasound was way different that Addie's. My doctor changed offices and now is in a way bigger clinic so the room for the ultrasound was huge! We had a big screen to look at instead of cranking our necks to look at the same screen as the technician. It was great! Addie and Darrell were able to come in and so was Kimmy! She had no doubt that we were having a boy and she definitely didn't have to tell us. He stayed in just the right position for us to see clearly.
Dare's Birthday
Darrell just turned 25! Wow aren't we getting old. We do still feel young. Until this last Sunday when everyone was stating how long they had been married which ranged from a couple of weeks to a year tops. We just had our 3rd Anniversary, which must make us OLD and a second baby on the way. Ha ha If we only didn't live in Provo we wouldn't feel quite so old. We got Dare a real cheesecake from Costco. Without thinking we put it in the trunk with all of the other groceries. As we were driving you could hear the watermelon that we had bought as well. Pretty sure that one side of the cheesecake was dented at the first red light. At least it still tasted good!
Arizona Bound
We had a lot of fun on our trip to Arizona. Addie was a good girl on the drive down. We of course spent a lot of time outside playing and checking out the cows. Having a lot of people around and lots of cousins was so much fun for Addie. She got to play outside way more than she does at home. The weather was amazing! They said the week before had been in the 105's and the weekend we were their it went back to semi normal temperatures around the 80 and 90's with a fair amount of wind. We did get to go to the Zoo too! It was so much fun.
Addie thought the water looked gross so we had to convince her that it was okay to touch.
Checking out the Cow and its baby
Addie loves to pretend to drive the car and honk the horn!
We were heading back on Memorial Day so the day before we headed up to Darrell's Dads grave and left some flowers. It was the first time we had been up there since they put in the head stone. Darrell got a little lost so we all had pookies in our feet. Serves us for not wearing tennis shoes as Darrell's Dad would have said.
Playing in the Pool and Our Sock Hop Attire
Darrell just had to get a pool that he could possibly swim in also, Such a kid at heart. Addie loves playing in the pool as long as the weather is warm and the water not too cold. She would be satisfied if we gave her a small bucket and a trickle of water, that would be heaven.
Our ward had a 1950's Sock Hop that we dressed up for. Addie looked so cute and Dare not to shabby either. We won some yummy desserts during the cake walk which Addie loved dancing in the middle of everyone and Darrell decided to join in for the hula hoop men's contest and won a pair of dice to hang in our car.

Hiking
It seems that here in Utah there is barely a spring to go hiking. Unless we want to wake up way early now in the summer it just seems so hot!! I am not sure what hike we even went on but it was rocky but had a cool waterfall at the end.
Addie did not like the carrier, she is getting too big but she always wants carried.
She so wanted to stick her feet in the water but it was FREEZING.
Uncle Clark and Addie checking out the water!
Addie wanted to go back into the cave but Dare was like, "No way, Who knows what is back there!"
Getting so Big!
Addie got into the sunblock when mommy was not watching! What a sneaky weasel.
Loves Daddy's new chair!
Always shaving with Daddy!

Tulip Festival at Thanksgiving Point
Water is such a cool thing when you are little! She loved the waterfalls or streams.
It was actually a pretty warm day out so we got an Ice Cream cone and than got to play a little in the water!
We went with our friends from the ward. Their is Stephanie and Marcos. Addie now calls Marcos, Maro
Smelling the pretty flowers. She puts her whole nose in the flower.
