Tonight while I was trying to get ready for bed and Darrell was taking way too much time with the toothpaste so I tried to steal his toothpaste off of his toothbrush. He grabbed the toothpaste and smeared some on my nose! So I grabbed the toothpaste and wiped some on his face! Then I told him to freeze so I could take a picture because it was funny. But for the full effect he said if he had to get his picture taken I did too. So he smeared me again!

Reunion
On Saturday night I was bored because all Darrell does these days is study for finals, so I was texting Leah and she said a few of them were going to a Christmas program. I figured well this is the perfect time to go visit my friends that I hardly ever see. It was great getting to talk and spend time with Charissa, Leah, Mandy and Amanda!
Eating Habits
I don't believe Darrell was raised with this habit for I know his mother better than that. I'm not sure if he made it up himself or if he learned it from a roommate or brother by any chance. Darrell likes anything in milk for breakfast. Most of the time its some dessert or pie or something. Well this particular morning I mentioned that we have a lot of Christmas treats still in the fridge, in the meantime I was making oatmeal. Darrell said "well just put some of those in a bowl for me."
Lets just say he got all but the half the fudge and half the bon bon down before he said, "I cant eat it I'm sick."
Dannon Intern
Darrell had a group interview with Dannon the other day, when he came home he brought a bunch of goodies with him.
Such as:
-pink hair net
-purple smock
(he didn't bring home the things he attached to his shoes that made his shoes be steal toed, he said as he walked he made a clip clop clip clop sound?)
-ear plugs
(they wore in the factory during the tour)
-A mug
-stress cow (Darrell named Bessy)
-dannon coupons
it was quite the experience! We bought Danimals! They aren't all that bad but they have a strange after texture to them, usually its after taste?
Christmas "A Must"
I forgot to mention that last Sunday Darrell came out of the room saying, "Babe I really don't want to wear your belt again." The last few Sundays he has been wearing one of my belts because his belt somehow disappeared. He says mine is a little too tight... I believe him. :) So I look him in the eye and say, "Well, do you wanna open an early Christmas present?" In the end he opened his present early and now he is able to breathe while sitting at church!
First Date Anniversary! "Panda"
On December 4th of last year was the first "date" Darrell and I went on, so Darrell wanted to go to Panda Express, because thats where we went on our first date. But he was busy with homework so on Monday we decided to go to Panda. Then we came home and Darrell tried to shovel more of the snow off the sidewalk but it was just making it more slippery so we ran into the quad, which was why I hated Glenwood because it didnt have any open space. We played in the snow for awhile. Darrell taught me how to make a snowball, I couldnt ever figure out how to get it compact enough to actually throw it without it just looking like dust after I threw it. Then we made snow angels! Mine was actually pretty cute! Darrell couldnt make his complete because he would have ran into mine and ruined it!
"SNOW"
Two Sundays ago I woke up to the sound of something scraping cement, I jerked my head towards Darrell and said (in a high excited voice) "Does that mean it snowed last night!" ....Darrell (in a tired slurred voice) "uh...probably." I jump up in bed and dart to the window and peeked through the blinds, with no warning I yell to darrell, "It snowed!!!!" I was sooooo excited! and I still am for the snow. It always happens every year I love it when its the first snow and all through Christmas (even though I worry about having to drive home in it) I will love it, but when it comes to be march and there is still snow on the ground I tend to get a little bit more grouchy about the snow. I just get to the point where I dont feel like wearing boots every day (because I absolutely hate getting your pants wet and I have a tendency to sit on my legs and then it gets my bum wet too!). I get bored of wearing my big jacket everywhere and cleaning the snow off my car, and just being completely cold all the time. But for now im excited it snowed and it is so much fun!
My eyes look weird! Hard working man!
Thankful for Thanksgiving!
Darrell and I were getting quite hungry for a change of scenery, we were extremely grateful for the drive down to Arizona to visit Darrells family. We may have not enjoyed the ride all that much but being in a different routine was wonderful. We thought that everyone but Harvys family was going to make it, but when we got there we were surprised to see them. So the whole family was there! On thursday we headed to Troy & Jenns in Maricopa to have our Thanksgiving Dinner/Lunch. Then we went to Darrells aunt Kathys and played volleyball (which is my most favorite sport, that I dont get to play often because it is hard to with two people) for a little while until it was time to eat again! The rest of the weekend we got up and helped with the farm a little. I got to drive the quad around the farm and we visited the baby cows or calves I guess. Then we got to ride and drive on the tractor! I had never been on one before but it was kinda fun. I watched as Darrell filled in some holes in the ground and then we headed back to the house. The rest of the weekend we talked about family plans and took a family picture. Some how we got all the grandchildren to sit on the trampoline for a picture! I think it actually turned out good! We played a few games and I cut Teresa, Tracy and Kims hair. It was a great weekend and a fabulous change of scenery! I forgot to mention Arizona has perfect weather for the winter or fall! Hopefully I will be able to get some of the Thanksgiving pictures to post soon!

Primary Chorister! Week 2
Last week We played a fishing game for singing time, for this week I really wanted to know which songs they knew and which ones they need a little more help. So I made some bees with the songs that are on the 2009 Primary singing time list. and of course I added a few more of the fun ones since they love those ones so much and to just get the ants out of their pants. It went well I told them they can keep the bee as long as they sing really good and they sang as good as they could if they knew the song. One little boy came up to choose a bee and he started buzzing like one so we sang the last song popcorn popping making buzzzzing sounds. It was a success, Lets just see what we can come up with next week.
Fall Fiasco!
Yesterday I accidentally wandered into JoAnn Fabrics which is a terrible thing for me when we are in a new season. The plan was to just get a few things for my scrapbook but I ended up heading over to the material section a nd got a fall table cloth. As you can tell it doesnt completely fit the table I was being cheap, so I only got a yard! lol Anyways Darrell says im band from any craft stores for the next month or so. We made a chicken pot pie for dinner last night. There were no seasonings in the recipe so Darrell figured he would add a few of his own. so he just through in a little of that, and this and a lot of that. It turned out alright but I really couldnt stand how much thyme he put in it. It was a little interesting you would say.
